Peak Adventure ocean paddling coaching and training day


Where: Surf Coast, Torquay, East of the Bell Street and The Esplanade round about, look out for the peak adventure flags, cozy corner car park.   


When: Sep 26th 2010


8am arrive
8:30am on the water

Session will include: 

  • reading/negotiating the surf and ocean environments
  • basic wave catching skills
  • negotiating a broken wave
  • starts
  • questions and answers
10:30am off the water 11am coffee and lunch


Cost = $50 includes all equipment, paddle, pfd and boat leash


Limited to 20 people please book fast to avoid disappointment. You will be getting wet, please bring warm paddle clothing, wetsuit recommended.

Team Peak Adventure Day 0 results from Wulong Quest China.

It was a short Day 0 stage of racing today for team Peak Adventure. We finished in 7th place only 4min behind the lead team, very close and exciting racing.

Highlights:
  • 500 meter chair carry
  • 10,000 + spectators lining the streets
  • Leading the race for the first 2km
  • Massage and dinner tonight :) 
Lowlights:
  • Losing 2min in the rafting section
  • 34 degree heat
  • Missing out on pizza during lunch
