The Trail Run Training Program has been developed by Peak Adventure exercise physiologists who are experienced in all adventure-type sports. This program is built on the principles of progressive overload, training specificity and periodisation.
In this program, you’ll receive the following:
- A 1 month, 3 month or 6 month training plan describing daily / weekly training sessions;
- A compliance schedule – to help you keep track of the sessions you complete or don’t complete;
- Equipment advice: what equipment is needed as a minimum for your sport;
- Training advice from the pros: what to expect during the training period;
- Racing tips from the pros: what to expect on race day;
- Racing nutrition: some tips on what to eat / drink on race day.
